1/10th Touring car : 13.5 brushless with 7.4 lipo.
1/10th Pan Car : 17.5 brushless with 7.4 lipo

which car is faster in your opinion with each car using novaks recommended gear ratio.

or are they pretty much even.

The 1/10th Pan Car will be faster around a track with that comparison. 17.5 motors aren't a slouch, and with less weight and 7.4V batteries, it would move pretty good. Simply put, the power-to-weight ratio of the Pan Car and Touring Car is not equal, Pan car winning that balance.

Unfortunately, currently there are no classes designed around a 1/10th Pan Car using 7.4V LiPo's.
