don't know you that well mark, but trust me, Fred has never, ever ran away from a race or race class because of competition. I do know he runs mid pack most of the time at TRCR in the dirt, and no one, no one, has as much fun as him. even when i pipe him he doesn't mind, well not to much anyway.

Fred, looks like I might be playing at SIR on friday with crosier and dutemple

Don't know if I can escape family obligations on Friday, and even since September, Hurricane mIKE could still be blowing!

On another note, WOW!!!! where did all this NW Cyber Garbage come from! I sure "hope it didn't follow me all the way from Seattle. My apollogies to all of the Electric onroad racers that had to wittness their thread being Hijacked, I never ment for that to happen, nor did I ever intend to speak for or represent anybodies opinions. My previous post 1 page back was intended to report on our regional race series, and the statis of the WGT class, with my take on the dynamics that played out as they did. Quess I sorta started sumton, huh!

Oh, and BTW Vern..... BAD DOG!

Nah, your innocent.

Just me blowing off steam after getting the class included into the series and watching it get twisted into a knot before it even had a chance to blossom.

Again Fred (1) change in motor type voted on by the drivers...... is hardly twisted in a Knot, this class is obviously still in flux. I never boycouted the class at SIR I was there with bells on and and my safety classes for the round cells but only two of the (7) TZR cars showed because of the battery issue. Again one of the most talked about topics on RCtech.

And yes Fred as we have always told you you are a TZ V.I.P.

Exactly. There are those that prefer to run LiPo and dont want to step backwards in technology to run "a new class". Hence the reason many clubs are attempting to be a part of the solution, rather then a part of the problem. I wasn't about to build 4 cell packs for one race, or even a series...I'd prefer to wait and hope the class builds to where we can seperate the old cells from the new and be done with the debate....in the mean time we run together and dont sweat the small stuff.

Default My CRC Gen-X 10 with SMC 5000 lipo

Been using my CRC Gen-X 10 so much lately I had to do a fresh rebuild.

Now has the new front stiffener plate and the wide rear body mounts.

Pictures attached.

Bill,

What combinations have you found are the closest in running with the 13.5 4 cells? I've found 21.5 / 7.4V is about 3 tenths off, and 17.5 a hair fast. Gearing down the 17.5 seems about the closest with my testing.
