Firstly you have to told us what race rules you have to follow.
Since just need 10.5 then don't care what motor homologation and KV, I guess LRP stock spec, Orion race or Novak SS should be the choice, for their quality, could change rotor and timing(maybe Novak couldn't, not sure), then LRP could also change cover.
Fantom, Tekin and Trinity are still doubt, since i never heard nothing about them, at least their can are looking sharp then nothing more, so you have to try by yourself.
SP 1 is that 1 i don't like so much, it can't timing nor change rotors, totally spec, i don't recommend.
Team Losi and Hacker are also not the best ones, as i know they are the same, like the Keyence's coming soon ones, just because since they are called 10.5R but their KV are equal those 13.5 of other makes, so i don't recommend too.

Novak, Hacker and Nosram are great, GM also. Just have a look at whats winning and go from there.

Yes, Hacker has very good quality of material, unfortunately as i know their turn number doesn't match with their own power, with so many race rules it took some disadvantage, so we have to pay more attention with that point.
For me GM, is out of question, just because its can is equal as SP motors, i doubt their 10.5 could not also timing.

Runnig one myself, Novak makes some good motors across the spectrum. You don't have to use their ESC, but it dose come with some nice programing options.

I have the Fantom 10.5 and it is a missle and can be geared to the moon without losing punch. It is Trinity based and I am waiting for the new pulse to arrive. Have always been happy with Fantom products.

have any of you had this probleme : the motor the noise of two gears not meshing or more like grinding but it works very well ( execpt the noise ).
I know its not the gears cause i changed motor and it didnt make this noise , so the noise is coming from the motor and it sounds like a grinding sound ??
Thanks
