Guys im having a weird problem with a TP 5000 40c pack. I have one cell that the voltage goes up and down like crazy when its charging. If you move the pack and watch the balancer data you can see one cell jump from about 3.6 to 4.5 volts and then rests back to the low number. I tried charging it without the balancer but the jumping can also be seen through the main leads. Weird rite? It shut down my charger a few times before I caught what was happening. I plug in an identical pack using the same leads and its fine. Also has a funny smell. Not a burning smell more like chemical or something....

Im gonna call this week, The other TP pack has a cracked case so I guess ill send bolth in just wondering if anyone else has been through this. Its one of the first batch when they had that week $99 sale in december.

Are there any signs of a Single cell (3.7V) pack being available?
If they are availble how long before your UK dist. has some?

I'd like to try one in my GT10 but I'm having trouble finding single cell packs and would like to stick with Thunder Power as the 5000 packs are fantastic in my TC.

Thanks
Skiddins

I would think the voltage fluctuation was caused by a loose connection inside the pack, but the whole smell comin outta the pack is a different story. Definitely contact Thunder Power about it. I would discontinue use of the pack in the meantime.

Thunder Power and Flightpower use the same connector, so you can use this harness with your balancer:

It will work fine. All you have to do is unplug the old adapter from the main box of the balancer, plug in the adapter that I linked to, and put a deans plug on the main power wires. This harness is made for your balancer. See the wide black plug that is plugged into the main box in the picture:

If you mean versions with Corally connectors...no, they don't.

No they don't have such option, but you can solder them on your own - that's what I did.
