Is the capacity likely to be higher than the SMC 4000mah single cell?

Can anyone shed some light on where to actually find the TP5400-2SPRS?

I'd also like to know the dimensions of each cell as I have a vertical constraint on my old gal...

No problem.

Can you post a pic of the car you are trying to fit the pack in? Maybe we can come up with an idea?

it would involve cutting off the bottom of a carbon fiber vertical support... this thread
http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-comeback.html

has some pictures of the SV10 Alcyon in it (first poster and my post, #8). I currently run the aluminum vertical pieces, which would be impossible to trim down as it is two pieces on the spur gear side, and one of the screws holding the pieces together is at the bottom in area that would need to get cut off to make room for such a tall lipo.

Well depending on how serious you are about trying the pack, you could look into getting a machine shop to modify the plates. Is it possible to re drill and tap a new hole for the screw that would be cut off? Just an idea.

I know this is the on road forum, and this thread is about the Thunder Power 5000 40C pack, but I had to put this out here.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...ml#post5731972

I plan on picking up a 5000 40C pack for my 2wd buggy. I'm completely sold on this technology.

Q1. Is this 40C REAL ??

Q2. Is this 40C represent continuous or burst discharging ??

Q3. What electronic instrument use to prove "yep, it's discharging at 40C " ? ... coz 40C x 5000 = 200000/1000 = 200 Amp

Neverminds with my questions above.

I read from page 1,2,3,4,5,6 ....... it was getting "serious" on page 3,4,5,6

The simple answer to this : If you like it, simply buy it, and race it.

So, this battery consist of four packs huh ? I mean 2S2P ?

2ndly, How do you store your battery for one month ? 50% full ? 100% full ?

I race electric once a month. Do I simply re-peak or discharge and recharge like ni-mh ?

Thank you people.
