Thumbs up

Thunder Power RC would like to congratulate Josh Cyrul, Mike Haynes, and Jason Schreffler for their 1-2-3 Touring Pro Mod win at 360 RC Speedway and Hobbies. This is a great lead in for the Snowbirds.

I don't know who these guys are, but congrats to them!

I think I have heard of the Josh Cyrule guy from Fantom Motors or something. I remember hearing that name a long while ago. Is that the same person?

You guys have to forgive me as I don't know too much about the professional side of this hobby.

Well, they should be coming to your local track in February for the last race of the slam. So you should go talk to them since they are all nice guys.

My local shop had one for the Equinox that was already made for the Thunder Power. I believe the Equinox is the same as the Trakpower??? Tower carries them both, you may look there and get confirmation that the leads are interchangeable.

Would someone from Thunderpower like to confirm exactly what the make and model is of the balance connector on their packs.

I think I may have found one that does the job, but I accidently ordered the 'socket' which is what is on the pack, I have the 'header' on order.

Just in case someone has access to them and can check now;

JST B04B-PASK-1 (LF)(SN)
4way header

I too am looking for info about these connectors. I would like to balance my thunder power packs with a CORE charger.

Anyone know how to do this?

This is what I'm going to use with my checkpoint charger to balance the TP's when I get them...

and here's the cable to connect the 2 since I don't think it comes with it. (I got mine used with the cable)

From all of the staff at Thunder Power RC would like to thank everyone who ran and supported our products at the Snowbirds. It was a great pleasure to meet and talk to those of you who came. Hopefully we will be able to meet up again though out the year. We at Thunder Power strive to produce the best products for you the racer. We were quite overwhelmed by the support and reception we received by everyone. This was evident by the large amount of sales before and during the race, and how many racers were in the top qualifying and finishing positions. Below is a quick rundown of finishes with Thunder Power Cells:

Touring 17.5 Rubber A Main Qual 2nd / Finish 2nd
Touring 17.5 Foam A Main Qual 2nd / Finish 1st
Vintage Trans Am Qual 1st / Finish 1st
Touring 13.5 Foam A Main Qual 1st / Finish 3rd -4th
Oval Lipo 21.5 A Main Qual 1st / Finish 1st -2nd 4th- 7th
Oval Lipo 17.5 A Main Qual 1st / Finish 1st- 2nd-6th- 9th
Oval Lipo 10.5 A main Qual 1st /Finish 1st-3rd-4th-5th-8th

Sorry if I missed anyone. Congratulations to all. This was a great start for Thunder Power and we are looking forward to many more records and wins throughout the 2009 season.

Questions??

Hi guys, I have been speaking to the UK distributor of Thunder Power and mentioned that I was after a 5000 car pack.
They emailed me back with the following link to a pack with different ratings;

http://www.westlondonmodels.com/prod...P-5000-Car-PR/

Is this just an older picture/specs?
If I ordered one would would I actualy get the same pack that is pictured on page 1 of this thread?
I belive they received a delivery very recently.

Cheers
Skiddins

Skiddins, That is the old cell. I would verify that they have the new cells in stock. The part numbers are the same from the old to the new. If you have any problems you can contact our sales staff for any help.
