Is this battery gonna burn up my mamba 25?

http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-2200-111-Flight-Pack.htm

is this a good choice for a rc18? Im looking for the most bad ass battery I can find.

Any other idea / comments would be greatly appreciated.

That pack will work fine. As for if its a good choice... it is if your going for all out speed runs, or trying to see what objects the car can punch a hole in.. if your actually trying to drive/race the car, your much better off with a 2s

it depends on the quality of the cells. at the minimum youll gain runtime, and better handling from the reduced weight. if they arent good cells (ie not matched), youll probably notice more punch, and a couple extra mph(assuming its a 6c pack, if its any less than yeah itl get faster). what gearing are you running? youd be suprised how much gear you can push with these setups, a couple of teeth can make a big difference in speed. what motor is it BTW?

Look at the MaxAmp Lipo's, Constant, sustain, & burst. Rating is larger then Mamba 25 handles. Look into a higher Mamba, or go with a 2S 7.4v lipo's, for racing. 3S 11.1v lipo's for speed runs. ROAR only allow 7.4 lipo's for now. If anything it would overheat the ESC or blow the ESC, b4 the motor, and by gearing. Look up the spec of the mambe 25. You can make a decsion

The mamba 25 is for 1/18 cars, not for roar racing. and the ESC can handle up to a 4s lipo on the slower motors

BTW the amp rating for batteries is what they can deliver, not what they put out all the time. The ESC only draws from them what it needs to operate
