Default KO worlds A finalists not using 2.4Ghz?

From the worlds coverage the drivers using the KO Esprit radio appeared to be using FM modues rather than 2.4Ghz? Anybody know why? Aren't the latest 2.4Ghz systems as good as FM?

Hara looked to be using the Futaba FAAST system.

2.4 Ghz is not approved World wide.

France is one I think, some Asian countries as well.

There's a few guys here that prefer the FM claiming it's always going to be the fastest response, but who gives a sh!t..."someone on 78!?" I'll stick with 2.4ghz

I think they use the antenna as a way to obscure the competition's vision.

I think you must be right unless the KO 2.4Ghz system is slower than their FM system. Futaba FAAST seems good enough for everyone to use it.

I would really like to know if the KO system is slower than FM and Futaba's FAAST, I like the KO radio, but I won't go with 2.4Ghz if response is compromised.
