Default FT TC4 Questions.

Hey guys,

I traded my TT01 for a FT TC4, but figured out that it was incomplete. I need the following things:
Top Deck
Stand-offs
Spline
Camber Link Mounts
1 CVD
Driveshaft
Spool

Edit: Turns out I have the FT chassis. Can I use the ITF top plate on the FT chassis?

-Coby

I ran a FT TC4 all summer in our "Sportsman" class. I used an ITF top deck along with the FT bottom chassis. The car is decent for stock or VTA racing, but I expreinced a lot of wear and tear on my CVD's and diff outdrives. You may want to look into some Irrgang Racing Systems "Big Dawg" CVD axles with the "pin cushions". Hope that helps!!!

Troy.

Ah okay. That takes some stuff off of my list . Thanks!

BTW: Is there a difference between the Big Dawgs and the ones that already come with the FT (Blue aluminum)?

I don't really understand how they do increase the life of the outdrives, but if they do I guess I'll be buying them.

Ohh okay. Thanks!

Also, if I run the FT chassis with the ITF top plate, can I use the ITF spline or do I have to use the FT spine?

You can use either spine. I ran the FT spine.

The ITF is only milled out for more flex. They are all interchangeable.

As long as you have the perfect mesh on your TC4, you won't need a steel spur gear. They don't make steel spurs anyways.

Using a one-way helps a lot. You should use it for both, because it's pointless to have a one-way in the front and none in the back.
