That’s a great idea on the socket head cap screws instead of the button ones!

I’m assuming neither of you have the latest version of the motor mount?

I'm guessing no for me. All of my cars were purchased used, and all have the same mount.

The last generation motor mount is excellent. It is a two piece design that allows you to mount the motor to an aluminum piece and then that piece will slide on a mount that is bolted to the chassis that has a set screw to allow ultra-fine adjustment of the mesh and when you have it where you want it, you tighten two screws perpendicular to the motor to bolt the two pieces together. No more difficulty setting mesh or tightening of screws.

That explanation was probably terrible....sorry.

I have an Evo 2 that is the most recent design with a lot of other options. I run it in VTA and it’s phenomenal.

Hey folks

I'm running 17.5T evo 2 with alum chassis and carbon top deck. Are folks also running the center spine stiffener when also running top deck or removing it?

Hi engineers and folks,

Will A700-EvoIIC be produced on request? It cannot be back-ordered on the websites.

I heard that ST13 and ST14 will be discontinued and must change to IFJ and IRJ. Is it true? I think my 2 Ball Diffs will be useless if those bones are unavailable.

Thanks

Hi ricekwan,

For A700-EvoIIC you can ask via the Support Email from Awesomatix, or your local distributor.
ST13 and ST14 is discontinued/replaced with IFJ and IRJ at Awesomatix.
But ST13 and ST14 can be still available at some Distributors.

A700-AT03M is suitable for the use of IFJ.
A700-GD2 is suitable for the use of IRJ.

What are the advantage of Ball Diffs for A700 over the Gear Diff in your Opinion ? And in which Class do you run with the BD1 Ball Diff ?

Regards, Max

Hi Max!
Thanks to your help. I like the ball diff since it is a breakthrough to have diff oil in it. It is so smooth that I feel it helps on corner exit, compared with GD1. However it has an issue of oil leak at the case (AT01/AT02). Will try to get GD2. I run modified with X22 10.5T or X20 8.5T.

I have a mod on the RFG to let it float more. It helps me a lot on the real grip. Any other mods to share with us?

I was wondering if you guys knew of any up to date setups for a 700EVO II on this black rug? I know there's some on petric rc, but they're all old "like the car I understand", just seeing if there's any new ones for a vta car out there that you may know of, or should I just use some of the 800's setup sheets as far as dampener and spring rates and roll centers? It's been awhile since I've raced them, I took a break from racing, and I'm looking to use my old cars again. Any other tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated too! Thanks in advance!

I do not know of any. I would start with my 2015 carpet nats setup as that was very hi grip gray carpet.

i run a carbon car that updated by copying the chassis to the 800x and sway bar holders and I use almost the same settings as the new car and it seems very close . The only thing I’m working on is the diff action
