Are there other UJs or DCJs from other brands that we can use?

Ran the FCB yesterday at Jackson RC. Our track has curbs that are painted. No TQ this week after flipping in Q1 and Q3 on the curbs after being on some super fast runs. The flipping on the curbs is getting old so I'm going to work dampener setups in the next 1-3 weeks.

I tried three different configs--

#1 4 deg caster at rest + rear flex to 6 deg caster (ran in q1) - 0.1s faster/lap than competition

#2 4 deg caster at rest + rear flex to 6 deg caster + front flex to 2 deg caster (ran in q2) - 0.1s slower/lap than competition

#3 fixed 4 def of caster (ran in q3 and main) - 0.2s faster/lap than competition in qualifying -- due to Q2 only 0.1s faster in main but the pace was back

I believe config #1 will work well on a asphalt track without curbs. It had a great overall feel... And led me to believe I could drive the curbs harder (I was wrong).

Unfortunately lap times done lie. In q3 I did two 15.7 laps up front and was on a faster than mod time - quick 23 lap run.

Never tried

After running many different front drive shafts in XRay or top cars in the last 6 years I'm happy with the awesomatix drive shafts. The worst thing that happens is a bent bone (st13 or st14). This is a MAJOR difference than a broken bone!

The quote you reference talks about st02 -- the rear drive shaft / CVD stub axle.

I found a really good balance/feel for the car yesterday, still no where near Hanulec fast, but good for me. I added the AM06M to the rear and tried some different shock settings.

Hi there,

now that the ETS is over, I hope Oleg can answer my few questions:

Oleg, do you plan to do other updated parts for the FFG?
Many thanks for answering,
Best regards,
G-rem

Looking forward to IIC in a few months, just ordered my second EVO and starting to ramp up my parts inventory over the next few months. Are there plans for A700 parts to be available for sale at IIC? Awesomatix zone in the pit area? Private lounge area with free Beer for A700 drivers?

I had a good weekend in Joliet. I was able to win 17.5 and finish 2nd in mod. I will have my set up posted in the next day or two.

Thanks to Hanulec for all the speed tips!

Awesome performance Monti! 2nd in mod is big. Looks like one or two faster cars had issues
... But there is no shame finishing 2nd to Paulie...

Yes Andrew decided to not tighten his pinion. I feel I was a third place car but got a little lucky.

I have attached my set up for mod. This has been the best and most consistant the car has been all year. My main issue was that the car would get tighter than I liked and it was easier to over drive the car that way. Moving the battery back helped but taking out the rear angle in the lower arm seemed to help the most. I think I lost a little grip when the sun came out for a long period by the main by doing this.

In 17.5 I ran the Hanulec/Fairtrance set up 100%.
