Great, it looks like there will be three of us now that I know of running the Awesomatix. Yea we run the same over here 10.5 boosted, glad to hear the car is going well at Ardent, it'll be my first meeting there.

What I'm most looking forward to is getting 2 days of straight running with the car, we only run once a fortnight here (with limited practice) and no running for 4 weeks at xmas, not so good when your trying to fine tune/learn about the unique nature of the A700.

I've found Toms MRC setup a very good base that I can work from, it helps that he is running 10.5B and Sorex28s also, so far I've only changed camber and toe and I'm very happy with the results.

Cheers

Mark

Off topic but the last time I was in the US I had to double check the fuel prices it was so cheap I thought the pump was broken..

1.42GBP / Litre
1 Litre = 0.264 US Gallons
5.38GBP per US Gallon

8.32USD / US Gallon

And our Government is broke

Hi Chris,

It looked like you were making good progress on Sunday, I was lucky that mine felt pretty dialled straight out of the box.

Got myself a huge fan to stick on the side.....very similar to yours

I had more heat when I first drove the car. This was because it was so stable I was using much more throttle on the exits than was possible with my Xray

Yeah im really really happy with the car, I took 0.5 shim out of under rear arms and stiffened shocks very slighty and my last final was really good, easy to drive and then you could really push the car and put in some good laps.

When i got home i noiced that the ackerman screws had come loose and moved on full lock, So that would explain the intermittant snatch oversteer and the end of the straight.

I asked Lou from Lou's Speedway to order me a couple of Cars and some parts. Steve Fowler's car looked good, so I want to give them try. Steve is spreading Awesomatix Fever in Ontario Canada.

Great pictures. What a fantastic piece of design and engineering this kit really is, Oleg must be proud to have these kits out there after so many years of development.

The only other car that's anywhere near as radical as this is the original TTech predator, but that was really let down by poor manufacturing tolerances. It was still a pleasure to drive and own though, its always nice having something a bit different
