Can I update my existing FFG with only AM54-1, and still use the old AM46(with brg), or do I need to get AM46-1 as well?

Thanks

AM54-1 needs AM46-1.
You can also extend the oval hole of your AM46 on 2.3mm to the front direction, move the bearing ahead and use such modified AM46 with AM54-1.
In case of you use FFG with ball bearing already, such updating should be not so interesting for you IMHO.
New AM43-1, AM44-1, AM42-1 can be used with old AM46+AM54.

Monti - Do you have that 700L 17.5 setup sheet you used @ Joliet? I might get lucky and get to go race there Saturday. Did you try it with sorex 36's?

It sounded like he changed some things from his past posts, but I have been wrong before. I have that setup on it now, but if he found something that works better out there then I was going to change it over tonight.

Biggest change is am06m in the rear.
Otherwise using the posted setup from Memorial Day 2014.

No I have not changed anything. I did run Jaco oranges and Sorex 36's and it wasn't any different. I am running the am06m, but I was running those last time too. The only thing I do to my 17.5 car right now is blow the dirt off of it.

Monti

Good luck tomorrow 80% chance of rain! I am not going to make it.

First race (and run) with my A700L today. Set TQ in the first round, reset it in the 3rd round by 3 seconds. The car got better each round and so far, it's very impressive. Still have alot to learn with the car, but so far, so good.

I got to run the new Awesomatix brushless servo today. It is dead nuts accurate, and it was noticeably quicker than the Futaba 9551 I had been running. Once I got used to it, it was almost telepathic. Also seemed like it was held in more solidly since the mount is built into the case. Its pricey, but definitely worth it imo.

Thats because I wasn't there. See you next weekend on the podium Rump. Just you'll be one step lower

Jk good first run.
