I don't know if you can post links here. You could just Google Canadian On Road Nationals 2014. Complete information including a link to the registered drivers is at the site.

I believe Brian is entered in Stock 17.5 and Canadian Vintage TransAm - 21.5 / 1450 Grams. I don't think any Awesomatix Cars are entered in Super Stock or Mod.

The Race only needs 19 more people to enter in order to break last year's Attendance Record of 125 Drivers. 107 Drivers Pre-entered to date.

just a little over 2 Days to enter.

Yes you can post links. Here's the reg list if FJ has time maybe he can see some names of others running A700's but from what I saw Brian is the only one.

Super excited, just ordered an A700 Evo from Stormer but I can't seem to find standard spares at any of the online stores. Does anyone know where there is any stock?

I have a question, when you assemble the damper units, do BOTH R6's go on the right side of chassis when looking from the back to the front??

Or does one R6 go in the right rear, and the other R6 go in the left front??

If you look at the directions on page 11 it shows two left shocks, and two right shocks but doesn't state which damper unit to put where....

Remember the units are reversed front to rear....

Do the dampers have equal compression, and rebound in both directions??
If they are equal then it doesn't matter where they go.....

This is a common question. The way I think of it during a build now is to make sure the dampers marked R go into the 'R' holders as shown in the manual (and the same for the L shocks). Then fit them to the chassis, they will only go on the chassis one way but the ones marked R will be on opposite sides front and rear. (It's the same for the L shocks too)

The damping is symmetrical from factory, however there is an option to replace the screw in the end with a grub screw which makes the damping non symmetrical.

Another common mistake is to tighten the grub / set screw in Asymmetrical damper mode. It should not be "bottomed out" at all. The grub / set screw is only there to act as a dust / dirt seal. It should NOT be screwed in fully !

I suspect the growing popularity of the A700 combined with the ROAR nats cleaned them out. I know I can't find an ORCA battery anywhere right now for that reason.

Couple issues I had tonight while trying to put the finishing touches on the car...

1. Xray servo saver won't fit when using the stock servo mounts.

2. When making adjustments the ball cups keep popping off.

3. Still having an issue with finding the right screw and washer combo for the lower motor screw.

Thanks for any suggestions.

1. I shaved the edge of my servo saver down some so it would clear

2. Not too sure what else you could do besides thread/unthread the ball ends once or twice so they arent so tight. Maybe a touch of grease on the threads will help.

3. I use a cap head screw on the bottom with no issues. Make sure the screw holding the motor mount to the chassis isnt too long and hitting the screw

Thanks. I ordered the floating mount and the captured ends and balls to try.

Grease on the stock turnbuckles helps. Also lunsford units seem to thread in easier and not have this issue.
