Since TCS no longer runs in my region of canada our f1 has been open to all makes and models.

Even if you had to stick to a direct drive solid axle car i would still be interested to see what you came up with......alot of manufacturers are makiing F1s now so i would love to see an awesomatix F1 most definately.

These are the rules that most of the midwest is going by: http://uf1rc.com/rules-and-regulations/

I think if you did make one the biggest factor is making the width adjustable. Seems that wider tends to be better, but most rules have a 190mm max.

This is what is run in my area: http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...1-midwest.html

Finished the roller ! I'll do electronics another day.....lol.... I guess my kit was special . I had to improvise alot and put my own screws, wheel nuts, antenna tube, and lots of 3x15mm screws where I was missing some of the 3x10s....
On a positive note though, the gear diff got smooth with some more fiddling with it...
It is still by far the best and strongest kit I've seen so far, and I could really crank stuff up without any fear of stripping , but I took my time on this build , alot more than my tc4s..... Happy Racing guys.... I got to get some rest now....

Thanks for the Awesomatix (USA) team for helping me out for the parts and I think I finally finished (almost...still waiting for some little parts from mail) the roller and will be ready for the electronics...it is by far the longest time that I have spend on 1 RC kit and I hope it is well worth it....road test will tell.

I also used a parma 3x8 universal bumper cut to fit, but the One I got was on the soft side... If you get a hard One, it will add some more protection in the front end.... It also need 3x15mm screws to squeeze the foam tight....

I have seen posts on here about people using the ball diff with 1,000,000 in the front. I was wondering there is an advantage to this vs a gear diff running heavy oil. I will be running on carpet. Most of the people where I race use a gear diff in the front with 500k+ oil.

I plan on going to the Halloween Classic at the Gate and was wondering if anyone else is. It would be cool pitting by some fellow Awesomatix drivers if so. I will try not to ask 2 many questions but I am sure I will have a few because I won't get to run the car very many times prior to this race.

I think they'll be 5 or more people there with this car. PM Mike Hanulec he should know those that are going. Adam Brown and myself will be there from Colorado.
