BlackedOutREVO was in SoCal this weekend and I had the opportunity to race with him at Cal Raceway.
This was my first time seeing an Awesomatix in person and I must say, the simplicity of the car is impressive. There are so many small things that have been addressed to make setup changes, faster, simpler and more effective.
After watching the Awesomatix through practice and in one of the rounds during racing, all I can say is the car is an absolute beast! The way that the car cornered flat but maintained grip and carried an insane amount of corner speed was like nothing I have driven. When you entered a high speed corner with the Awesomatix, instead of waiting for the car to roll and turn, the car would turn in impressively and maintain a solid line.
After driving and seeing Brandon's Awesomatix car in person, I am definitely a believer and can say that this is the only other car I would purchase right now.

Here is my setup from this past weekend, and what I run at my home track Speedworld. Very easy to drive, lots of steering, and is super consistent.

Also, play with ackerman and front toe as well.
and, this might seem counter intuitive but if nothing else is working, try just a little less rear toe if you are already using a lot. Adding rear toe can make a car rotate more into the first third of a corner at low speed. Also check your "bump toe" to make sure it is not changing during compression. As Mike said in a previous post, allowing some bump toe is something that can be used to advantage but it generally should be restricted to smooth tracks and stock classes without ... ahem... bumps

hey gee...its the manual set up..3 degrees rear toe..1degree toe out front, a spacing is 0 front and rear, b spacing is 1.2 front, and 1.0 rear..ride height front is 5.2 rear is 5.5..its a bumpy track..and droop is 2.5 mm over ride height front and rear..track is low to medium bite depending on time..usually main is a bit higher traction than the day

I would add some damping (increase a gap spacing) front and rear, and also maybe less rear droop like FJ suggested. Personally I also like the rear sprung much firmer than the front (my 17.5 car is 65.7gf/mm front, 83.3 gf/mm rear), I find it makes the car more stable

How much shorter is AM19 than AM18-1?
In the setup Mike mentioned, Kutvonen says he's measuring the shim height from the top deck, and is using AM18-1 up front. It appears to be in the hole that overlaps with AM19, so I'm trying to figure out how much I would need to shim AM19 to be at the same height.

Am18 sits on top of bulkhead or top deck.. It is a top deck thickness. 2mm

Has anyone messed with the ST27 chassis stiffener's? Do they make a noticeable difference on the track?
