Default which battery currently for 1/12th scale IB or EP

After using Lipo since some time now actually I never wanted using anything other.
But now I have started 1/12th scale (stock class) again and for racing there are no other batteries allowed here and I have to buy some Nimh.
My IB 4600 I bought about 6 month ago are just worth for the trash now.
So which of the batteries currently are less hazzle and less work.
Here I just have the choice between Intellect 4600 again or the East power EP 4600. Are the current IB better now or are the EP the way to go?
I have to buy some packs today for the weekend so I have to make a fast decision.
Thanks.

i had both 5 cell packs ( for mod ) and i loved m EP4600 .
I find the IB need more care and they offer less runtime .
Im for EP4600

From what I have heard (for what it's worth) the IB have better voltage, but the EP have better reliability.

Same thing here, my 6 month old IBs are dead. They were really good for a few runs when new. I just picked up some EPs which I've used in the past and they last a lot longer.

My IB 4600s were very well looked after and still died in 5 months. Now have Ener-G 4600s (can be got from SMC or Promatch) and so far are way better in every respect. From what I've seen Orion SHOs are very good too for anything less than modified but I only know about the European spec version. EP 4600s reportedly about the same as Ener-G 4600s but I have no personal experience of them.

EP 4600's are holding up great, last years packs still have same punch some runtime loss, little storage care.
