Seems to me you've left out the parts where I was asking for something and was shut down. I can't , no mater how hard I try .... lets face it ... Once you use your skull to stop a bike in the back of truck that cuts you off...
all I care about is cutting to the chase... no bull shit... just the facts. And no matter how abrasive I may seem to be its just that I speak my mind and choose a colorful vocabulary. Some people see it ... some people don't.
everyone is entitled and to whomever .. .whatever . Lets just race , thats where I get my buzz... running rose to tail... or door to door. Theres only a handful of guys here able to do it without the inevitable. None the less I know what I like and I'm not afraid to ask anyone anything or say anything to anyone. Everyone is allowed ... at least in my country.

My guess would be just to buy one pack to start with. I have run two races with 13.5 in a 1/12th scale car running for 8:45 per run including warm up lap or two and maybe one extra at the end. We have found that we can recharge the pack again in the amount of time that we have between rounds. This is club racing with about 8 heats of cars. 5 heats of 5 minute racing and 3 heats of 8 minute racing.

The other cool thing is that performance seems to get better if the pack is used several times a race day. We usually put 5 runs a day on our packs. This was done testing with my friend Brian of Slapmaster products. We were using about 3000 mah's a run.

To add for clarification to everyone, that 3300-3500mAh is for a 6-min race.

Mmm, I'd say putting in 3500mAh at 4A charge rate with a lipo will be more like 70 minutes.

i agree if we are talking about putting in a full charge. the last part of the cccv, or the cv part, take almost as long as the cc part.

John,

I tried to make my second post a little more poking fun rather than being critical, I didn't intend for it to come across that way. I sympathize with your view point of wanting what's best and not worrying about who's feet you step on. Sometimes though, when that change that you've been lobbying for since the early 40's comes about in the late 90's and someone else takes credit for the idea, it's less stressful to simply be happy that things have finally changed.....

Usually no one does. I just type what feels right. And usually it doesn't come out like I intended either... No one is listening anyways.

I think you have this all wrong.
Have another look at that list Nigel!

Thunder Power (Wired) approved 2009
Yuntong (Wired) approved 2009

There are also several saddle packs with main power cables approved this year.

I have looked at the list again, and realised it is not the one presented at the start of the year, and they have back tracked on at least 15 liPo packs, but still my ones are not on that list even though Demon presented them for reapproval to the 2009 list, none of his wired ones are.
