Racers we now when you look at this car you are saying what is different it seems the same, well let me tell you we have added some features for today's 1/12 racer

The first is the design of the pod and its location to the chassis,This car has a centralized pod designed and developed to center the weight of the new brushless motors. The pod has a 4 bolt design to eliminate unwanted flex.We also determined that the new wave of motors are increasing in power and torque so we increased the strength of the structure to handle the evolution of the motors. We also added considerable motor adjustment for the new generation of gear ratios.

Battery placement has been optimized for a added tuning option, you can position the batteries in three locations, forward, middle or rear along with the fact that they are as closer to the center line then any other tbar car in the previous.

Rear Dampening package.
With the new spring loaded side dampener tubes you have the ability to fine tune your cars performance with out making a major tbar change. You have the ability to use a lighter tbar for forward and reward dampening but increase the side springs for feel of a stiffer Tbar this will increase adjustment for different track conditions.

Thanks FTR Racing

hi - what are the width dimensions of the front end drilling? is it like a rc12l4? carpet knife/speed merchant? wider like a gen-x?

how did you select the width of the front end?

Looks like a well proven design car at a bargain price. Just one thing to be considered - those battery locator bars looks exactly the same as the ones Jason from BMI used on the first DB12R car batch and they were a disaster, snapped after first collision, so BMI went to something like this instead:

Front End

We tested cars that were on the market today and found what we liked and didn't like, then we decide what direction we needed to go with our car.We didn't copy no design we choose our own as far as overall dimensions.

Battery Bars
We will watch carefully and make changes if needed.

High Bite Tbars

Well we got the highbite Tbars in today,These Tbars were tested by Chris in big race conditions for when the bite gets extremely high we also have the new side springs ready and packaged.

Cleveland

Well we are ready to go the time has come,we were able to do some more testing last night and figured some good stuff out.You can run a softer TBAR on the car increasing the suspension movement for and aft but increase the spring tension on the dampeners to simulate a stiffer tbar side to side. This allows you to have the best of both worlds.
