Indoor asphalt from the sounds of it, carpet shared with offroad in the same facility would be too costly to maintain. I miss carpet but I won't turn down anything on road for So Cal at this point.

Thanks for making this a possibility Danny!

WGT anyone?

I think he said it would only be carpet if they brought it in for a big race, otherwise asphalt.

I'm sure a lot of people are excited at the idea of an indoor onroad track...

I just want to make my opinion on this topic heard one more time:

...the on-road racing scene in SoCal has been in a steady decline for the past 3 years. (What a bummer!) That is due to MANY factors, but with the transition to lipo and brushless making ALL forms of electric racing more enjoyable, I think the circumstances are ripe for the on-road scene to grow again. The onroad racing crowd would (nearly) KILL for a permanent, indoor asphalt facility, and that would be accompanied by new racers/customers...add that to an already healthy scene of electric off-road racing and I think you have a successful operation. So, just to repeat myself:

MY FINGERS ARE CROSSED FOR AN INDOOR, ON-ROAD TRACK!!!

I would love to see this happen...especially in my backyard! Miss the practice days at SoCal to get my car dialied in. This would definately be nice to have both off and on-road. GL and hope this goes through because I will be there to support your track!

wish #1..hopefully racers and ownership get along enough and respect each other enough so that it doesnt become a shit hole (kinda like how socal ended up)

wish #2..if they use traction compound, there's enough ventilation. i hated coming home smelling like paragon.
