Actually Hector those are AE composite hexes. They not only hold the o-ring on but when tightened down they hold the pack in firmly w/o the o-ring! Trust me they're not goin' anywhere.

How do you become a Team Warpspeed driver like the majority of you guys? I recently purchased the D1 chasis from Victor per Brian McGreevy suggestion. I hope to receive it sometime next week. I will be at the ROAR Nat's in cleveland this year and I would like to meet some of you guys that are running this chasis. Maybe you could give me some ideas of things to improve on. This has been a very informative thread and I can't wait to try out the new chasis. By the way Brian, I told Victor that you sent me and he took care of me. Thanks again!

What does it take to be a team driver for Vic? Thanks
Also what MM tire do you guys recommend for the track at the Gate? What Shore? I was thinking of starting with 28mm 35-37 shore. What do you think?

Get some good T.M., TRC or Jaco Plaid (same as jaco purple/orange, for front) and purple (rear) tires. Those will be and almost always are the fast compounds for stock. If you get TRC get them in 26 mm and TM and Jaco in 28 mm.

As for being a team driver...win (or at least place very well) some races at your local club, I know the car's capable of it! Get people interested in the car, be helpful to everyone that asks, and have a good attitude on and off track. That's what it takes to be a team driver for Warpspeed and most other companies as well. I know Vic strives to not only have a fast team but a really GOOD team, on and off track.

Thanks Brian. I just bought some TRC 28mm Magenta's for nats. I also have 26mm 37 shore foams. Will these be too soft?

Do you guys recommend running a one-way diff for my tc3? I am currently running the standard diff. TIA

You're going to want Plaid/purple. You don't use the same compound foams all around. Magenta is a rear tire for modified.

Yes use the standard front diff.

A Warpspeed decal on the hood will look nice.
