Hey Howard, for a better ackerman angle I have seen people turn the NTC3 steering "backwards", which makes the turnbuckles parallel to the front "A" arms. The only problem to this is that you have to cut some off of the front diff case(to fit the steering under the housing, plus it is much easier to mount because there are no braces to cut from the tub chassis)...

Oh, are you using a one-way with your setup? Diff? Spool?

Default Steering racks

Hello,

Had a practice night last night. Learned a lot. Ran the 8x1 V2 motor again. Wow-mod touring is a blast. Takes awhile to get used to mod though.

I ran two almost identical cars, one with TC3 rack (pictured) and one with the NTc3 rack. They drive very different thats for sure. At least to me. They feel different. I would need a day dedicated just to writing down how they differ as its more than just-this one more aggressive or this ones got more steering.

For sure the NTC3 rack is less of a headache. Put it in and maybe after a few hundred battery packs you might want to take a look at it-yup its still there!!!

The stock rack is just a headache. Its always too dirty, binding up, etc. But-when its right-its right!!!

Heres the NTC3 rack. Low maintenance and theres nothing wrong with running one most of the time.

I think its a tuning option just like any other part of the car.

Also-for beginners or fast drivers who crash a lot-this ones the one to get!!!

I ran 2 packs in practice and all I can say is wow!!! lol. The car was pretty hooked up after I threw some paragon on the tires. It may not be 8* but it was still pretty cold!!! lol. Can't wait to see what it does tomorrrow in qualifying. The track is really fast, nice layout. I didn't get any pics today but I'll take some of racing tomorrow and I think the good luck is working. lol. I'm aiming for at least the 'C'.
