Default First run weekend

Finally got a chance to run my D2 this weekend. One word - "awesome"(its my 5-year olds favorite work right now). I've still got a little setup to do, but the car is already faster than my FTTC3 and the short wheelbase makes turning unreal. Now I've got to wait another 6 days to run it again.

Hats off to warpspeed and Victor. Job well done.

What's up guys? Had another good day of racing today. It's actually starting to get pretty cold (to a florida boy), and the sun wasn't out at all, so I had to use soft carpet tires. But I still TQed and won. I have been doing very good the past couple of weeks with my car and hope to continue at the next Fl state race next weekend. (hope it doesn't rain like last time!!!!!)

Hope everyone else is having a god time with teir car also.

Default Mod Sedan w/ D1

Well-After running the new EPIC 19 turn Outlaw motor in round one-I decided what the heck and put in a 10x1 for the second qualifier. In the third qualifier I ran a 9 x3 and TQ'd Mod Sedan w/ my D1.

In Stock Sedan I put the D2 4th in the A after two runs and didnt run the third.

In the Mains-I had a great battle in Modified and had more battery at end of run and won the Modified A-Main. I also went 27 5:07 and ran a 10.9 second lap I think. I think JOsh and Dumas did 10.5's so I'll take only 0.4 secnds behind those guys ANYDAY!!!

In Stock Sedan I got a decent start-then got booted back to 6th-on the way back peeled my buddy Seaball (SORRY Chris)!! and finally ended up 3rd in the A. And did a personal best lap time of 11.5 (Fastest lap by me by over 0.4 seconds!!).

It was a great day of Demons at our track. Fuzzy ran his for the firdst time and also went 0.3 to 0.4 seconds faster per lap.

Ok day for me in Mod and 12th stock.

Mod i qualed 4th, came in 3rd. Ran a Kr 10x1...felt like an 8.

12th I had piss-poor luck and got in the B. Won the B with a time that woulda put me mid-way in the A. Overall not too bad.

The Demon was working really really good, now all I need for mod is some cyan/magentas

Axiom-I ran the Jaco Dbl Pink/Orange front and the Pink rears at 2.35" and they were awesome!!!

If I run mod again-I'll run those tires. It gave car more cut, more forward traction and car was actually easier to drive.

axiom's demon looked great!

makes me want to get one...he's also been a big help at the track and represents Warpspeed very well. took your advice axiom on the corners and was able to sneak into the A Main.

with some luck hopefully there will be a few more Warpspeed drivers in the area

Thanks Nexus for the kind words and you're welcome on the advice. Yeah my Demon was good today, could've been better though. The competition is stiff running against Paul Lemieux, Brian, Jucha, and Timmy Heiser in mod...lol.

Default Adam Email from UK

Dear Victor
Thank you for you e mail of 7 November

This is just an update on my set up. I ran the car again on Saturday night and we ran the track backwards so it was a little more difficult at first. There were many high speed flowing corners so I put the shockers in the outer holes on the shock tower as I said to you on the phone. This helped a lot. It allowed me to get through the corners better.
After the qualifiing had finished I had qualified second overall. In the final the car handled perfectly and I managed to pull out quite a gap on people who usually beat me. In the end I kept second place which gave me 99 points to go towards the series.

I changed the motor from a Core to a Monster stock and it proved to be much quicker so I was able to pass cars down the straight. I ran a gearing of 7.2 with part worn tires.

Best regards
Adam
