I run silver all around on my demon, and a rear sway if i need to loosen it up. I never go with a harder in tehe back then the front, makes it feel weird.

yes the car is consistant from track to track with only a minor tweek of the supension! if you have the set up we have posted here your dialed for about 95% of all the tracks you race on!

we had a simalar situation down here all I did was soften the spring 1 step down from what I useually run.

rc racing kid I have had only one ocassion call for softer fronts and that was because i was lazy to work on the caster or rear toe so i said screw it I'll do the front softer and to my amazemant it work well you'll find that when the traction is low and its high speed and a sweeping track with a spool it works great!

Speed... i run a 1-way now, have the spool but still havn't tried it yet.

We run the take off tires up north as well, but not due to rules or a spec class, we are mainly just to lazy to glue our own and keep trying deifferent things. Takes the guesswork out of the tires and concentrate on the chaissis and driving.

Race #5 of the fseara points series (Superior)wasn't as good as we had hoped it would be. Track surface is low traction (parking lot) and we were off on our cars handling. Run every week on a good track surface and it spoils you Lynn finished 4th in the A-main of novice, I broke on lap 2 of the same race Lynn was in. We will still be in the top ten in points. Racer Chick made the pole on the D-main and got taken out on the first corner of the first lap. Don't you just love a 5 car pile up at the start of the race??? She got hit so hard the esc (Keyence) broke and shorted out. She should be still in the top 20 in points. We are using a drop nexr month. Then 3 more races Aug/ Sept/Oct and we will be done for the season.

this weekend was rough for me aswell.
I have been goffing around with my warpspeed Mi2 and had all sorts of ills with it. saturday after the second round of qualifiying I brought out the d-1 and got it working!

third round sunday mourning and the last.
I had the run from hell on I started of on a tq pace and on the last lap I brush the out side wall going on to the staright away and bust a pin cushin that kept hitting the chassis brace causing the car to twitch funny in the corner locked up once cause the car to spin and finished the run in three wheel drive mode!

Good enough for 10 on the grid. Mind you Tq on down to 7th in the b main were on the same lap! (tight racing down here)
well I got a good start and got up to fourth. while going the the straight away a car jumps from the other side hits me head on and breaks a drive cup so I finish the race ala 2 wheel drive 9th place was the best i managed. till the next time!
The demon is old faithful anytime I put it on the track its fast! Just have to spend time on the Mi2 due to victor wanting to test stuff. He's the boss.
How did everyone else do?

Yeah Hector it was a rough weekend... Good Run,

My Warpspeed Mi2 was decent all weekend, I fought a loose car in Mod, but was good in 19t, should have gone a little softer in the rear, but hindsight is 20/20. Ended up on the pole for the B and lead every lap.

Thanks for the Great car Vic !!!

That's too bad Hector. I think the IRS pin cushions are crap. The only place they hold up is on the rear of the car. They suck in the front and especially with a spool. They did the same thing to me before. That pin almost cut through my front chassis braces. The Niftech swivels worked a lot better. The pin that connects the swivels may be a little suspect though. Didn't have a problem with them until I got hit head on while running a spool. I was hit head on twice at the Reedy Race...both times the only thing that broke was that little pin.

dotman it did just that it almost ate thru the brace.

thanks tim that last chance qualifier for me was fast. Just wish i would have run the demon on saturday. I will continue to work on the Mi2 it felt great till I sheard of the out drives. Paul Wynn did worn me if I crimped the out drives it might work once or twice he has done it and got away with it twice but its a gamble.
next time I wont be so lazy and replace the out drives.
what happend on your run!

dotman it was somewhat of a head on hit at a 45 degree angle straight dead on the wheel and bumper!
