Bro, you could fit the Carts, I did! I'm 5'9 and 252lbs! with room to spare!

Prepping my D1 for Saturday! It's going to be a Big race with a Quantum2 as a Raffle!

QUESTION: any of you guys already mounted a Fan on the D1?
I already have a 12V 0.1amp micro Fan, I have no Idea where to mount it. Do you ran a separate battery for the fan or just hook it up to the battery?

is the draw to big, that it will affect run time?

lem it shouldnt be a problem runninig the fan of the main pack it not noticable.
But i wan every bit of voltage going to the motor. I have to add about an ounce and a half to my cars so what I did is add a 5 cell reciver pack like the ones we use for 12 scale. those 2/3 aaa batts 150 mahs.

but you dont have to just plug it in to the open ports in the reciver. i actually have the heat sink set uo from associated with built in fan. but mind you i only use that in situation that are extremly hot like maybe 10% of the time other then that i dont even run a heat sink on the motor.

maybe if we drop some whieght the cars wont get so hot!

I am anxiuosly awaiting my demon, but about the fan, i run a 12v fan soldered onto the motor leads. I never had a problem with it, and the nice thing is it will only be on while driving, no wasted power while sitting on the grid.

you dont get any interfeirance or blow the fan because of the high current!
