Took some pics of my body before I went to the track today. I have to say, I have never seen a car with this much steering and rotation through the corners without being loose. Never...my stock tc3 I could get steering out of, but I had to make it sloppy loose....the D2 is solid. Im convinced. Warpspeed all the way!

other side
I will experiment more with the one way sunday...I tried it but switched to a diff to do more adjustments. I can post my setup later tonight if anyone is interested in a stock/19 spec foam setup on a tight carpet track.

What's up all you Warpspeed racers! I just now found this website, it's awesome. I haven't raced for over three months and last weekend I raced at the TN State Onroad Champs in Knoxville and I qualified third and finished first in 19t with my D1! I do miss racing in Florida. Is anyone going to the Trystate race at Toys For Boys in Atlanta,GA on the 25th of this month.

I got my Demon parts. What kind of chassis prep/filing are you guys doing on the battery slots?

The slots were designed to be just long enough for heat shrunk gp's. I actually used a flat coarse file and did just the lateral edges deep and only took a little off the side edges to not cut the heat shrink.

shane, put a 45 degree angle on it, should lay them almost flat with the chassis. I sanded mine with 3 stages of sandpaper and rounded the edges on the xray carbon fiber. i ended mine with 600 grit sandpaper

So Howard, is that the car that you will be running this weekend?

Do any of you guys know just how much shorter the wheelbase is on the D2 compared to the stock TC3, and the D1?(it says that the NTC3 drive shaft is used, but about how much shorter is that?)
