I've never driven my car in mod before. Actually, I've never driven any car in mod. The closest was a chameleon2 in the Speedline Trucks series last summer (Silverado Nascar bodies and 19t's).

Ariel i'll have to get you some speed in stock

i ran the 2.5 lower and upper chassis in mod cuz i used to run rubber and just switched over...and it was the easiest car to drive with the 8 single that i've had....very consistant so say the least...way till i get the 3mm's

Default D2 ROCKS!!

Ran the D2 in 19T yesterday with a spool. I was amazed at how quickly the car reacted with the spool. My Yok was a little lazy in the turns with a spool and was very fragile (Broke it twice in stock). The car was a rocket too, unfortunately, I had a glitch that kept popping up a minute or so into each race that caused me to have to pull out of two of the three quals, but I still made enough laps to put in the top starting spot in the B Main and won it easily, lapping the field . I had an awful day in stock with me Yok and TC3 (can't wait til my D1 is back on the road again). My D2 handled so well in 19T, I decided to run it in the expert stock A-Main. I started last but the car was Sooo strong I quickly moved up to third and was catching second. I had to settle for third though thanks to a couple of dots and a back marker.

Everytime I drive this car it gets better and better. I'm a lot more excited about the upcoming Reedy Race than I've been the last two years. Just hope I get in

the d-2 responds well to a spool that is the only way i'd drive it.

i have tried oneways on the d-1 and the d-2 but have always reverted to the spool.

i have only found the oneway to really help on huge tracks that are over 110 feet by 60 with flowing turns, especially if the track has two sweepers on either end (oval).

The spool runs really good in the D1, too.

Ya know, that's funny. The track I ran at this weekend was just like that and the car handled it great. It felt practically the same as it did with the one-way in the big turns but was more stable in the tighter turns. GREAT with a spool.
