Default HB or Xray??

Hey,
I am not sure which to get for my 1st ep on road car... I have raced Xray products (off road) before and love them good quality.

Xray T2 008 - Good quality, reliable, but expensive

HB TC - TQ at the worlds, won the last worlds, Cheaper than Xray. Thats all i know about the HB.

Any advice or anything would be good thanks!

Cheers,
jono

My First electric tc was the T2-007. I loved that is was a champion car and the way it was made. It was a very nice peice. However i didnt take into effect was parts. None of my lhs has parts for this car so it sucks when your at the track and you break that one part that you dont have.

As for the HB its a very nice car as well. I have never owend one but from what i read it is the best on asphalt.

All and all both are great cars. From my opinion since you have owned xray and as long as you can get parts for the car go with the xray. I believe it is a better over all car on all surfaces.

If you are racing carpet then XRay. Asphalt is a toss up. I prefer Xray because of durability. I like the TC but dont like the fact that it doesnt have a battery strap, u have to use tape.

As far as parts go, im starting to think that unless you run Assoc, Losi or Traxxas, most on road car parts are not going to be available at most hobby stores.

I've ran both HB and Xray extensively as an unsponsored racer. The Xray 008 is in a league of it's own in terms of quality, durability and performance. The Cyclone is a great car on the track but is a little weak in durability IMO.
