Default Duratrax ESC

Can this http://www.duratrax.com/caraccys/dtxm1065.html accept lipo?

It says 7.2v to 8.4v, however it does not specifically say lipo..

Yes, your esc can run lipo, BUT it does not have a LVC. so once your car starts to slow down, stop immediatly.
