Default Where to get the black R5 rims?

Hi guys.

Dunno if this has been a subject before since I cannot find anything via the search engine but do you have an idea where to get the black rims on Juho's and Naoto's R5's from? They are featured on the 'japanese' R5's on the Yokomo page but I cannot find part numbers etc. A look at the US site of AE did not help either.

Any help is much appreciated.

That is most likely a Yokomo rim, not AE.

These may be the part #'s.. it's all I could find on the parts list at Yokomo USA. Doesn't specify what the color is, though

SP-1210-3 1/12th Rear Wheel Set (3 pr)
SP-1250-3 1/12th Front Wheel Set (3 pr)

Yes, those are the correct part numbers and yes, they are Yokomo wheels... But they are wheels only and you have to glue the tires on them yourself...

But they are really nice wheels!!!

Joost.

Actually, they are not. The fronts are Yokomos and the part # is correct. The rears, however, are not the SP-1210-3 rims. I don't know what they are, and they may be Yokomo, but I have some of the SP-1020-3 wheels in front of me and they are not the ones in the picture.

I used to use these wheels, they are the truest on the market. A very close second are the Parma wheels I now use

And black rims rock!
