Novak has listened to your requests for the Havoc esc comboed with the SS17.5 Pro and SS21.5 Pro motors, We will be releasing information soon for these spec systems (which include the ROAR approved spec motors with colored timing rings.)
The street price will be slightly higher than the Havoc/8.5 combo already shipping. The Havoc controller, along with all other Novak products, are built here in our Irvine, CA factory, not China.

It looks like ball park price for the 8.5 combo is ~$140, if they can keep the price below $150 I think that people will start to make the switch...that is about what it would take for me. I would love to try brushless but it is so darn expensive, and I have 20years of brushed stuff piled up, granted it is not the latest and greatest but this is for spec 4cell racing, the beauty is that you don't have to have the best to make a go of it.

"Order Pending" for all Havoc/SS motor combinations on Tower's site. I was hoping the price would be a around $185, but still not bad.

It's common for Tower to list items at msrp or advertised retail when items are awaiting shipment. Price always comes in line after the items come in.
