Default Electric/Nitro Conversion

Why do people purchase a nitro car and covert it to electric? Why not buy the electric version in the first place. (E.g the Associated TC3 and the Associated ENTC3)

:S Please explain.

Thanks.

I've never seen the example you've given as a conversion, but the 1-8th scale conversions for both on and off road are done because of desire to get the durability of the bigger scales with the low effort of Brushless/LiPo...

my opinion only....

Nic Case did it a few years back because the ntc3 was beefier and could handle the power of a brushless system better.

200mm wide: Which makes a great starting platform for 4WD Dirt Oval.
