Default 1/12 pan car pinion size of small carpet track

I got my 1st pan car rc12l3 and Im about to order a few parts to get it driving. What pinion tooth count should I run on a small carpet track? Im using a novak 17.5 brushless.

I have the 12R5 with a 96 spur. I run 33-35 with a 19 turn motor. Should be about the same unless you have different size spur.

Ill be running the 74 tooth spur, Oh, BTW, Im actually running the 17.5 turn brushless cause Ill be in the stock class. I just corrected it in the 1st post.

38 thru 45 should do you.
