oh no, I have't done it. just had the peices that would go together and thought it'd be an easy job except for the cutting out the vents where the fan will blow out from.

Propably wouldn't be too hard or expensive to have a machine shop match up the vents...

Overdrive Designs is going to be selling the kit with or without the LED fan, I don't have one.

Yup those are from Overdrive Designs. They are done on a CNC. They are exactly like the stock backplate. Glad you like it. Go ahead and contact Don if you are interested.

I was thinking about getting a piece of plexy and than just cutting a whole and putting bolting a fan cover on it. You can get them at any CompUSA's with different designs. Problem is I can't find a 3/16" piece of plexy

Maybe overdrive can just provide the milled plexy without the light. All my cathode tubes are going to be blue and my fan is blue LED as well. I'll have to investigate cleaning up the wiring a bit...maybe UV wires with a UV light so they glow? Man, this is getting complicated.

btw, to get the window to fit I had to snip 4 posts inside the charger. I really dont know what they do anywhere as screws dont go in them. Can't wait for the cathode tubes.

3/16 width plexy is a strange size. All I can find is 1/8 or 1/4. 1/8 would fit but maybe a little slop.

With all the added radiation from the cathode ray tubes and multicolor leds, your battery's run time and voltage should increase, not to mention that tan that you will be getting.

hmmm, doubt it. It's purely cosmetic.

Just use a little shoe goo in the corners, it will stay secure

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of the red fan would you? Also, is it the fan blades that light up, or the base of the fan, or
