There are a bunch on amazon, but I think I like this one the best:

You need to get a calibration weight to make sure they're all accurate as well:

I will be needing to do this in the near future. I have a pretty decent digital scale now and may just "work it" to get front/back & side/side numbers.

BTW, I spoke with Novak tech support today re the Havoc ESC vs the GTB. He said that the only real limitation of the Havoc controller comes with the lower turn motors, the min turn motor for the Havoc is 8.5 so I don't see any "real" problems for this class. I also decided to order the optional cooling fan for it. Maybe it's overkill but cooler operating temps for any electronics is a good thing.

Hopefully they start shipping soon.
I'm thinking about trying these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123

He makes his money on the shipping so 4 scales for $30 doesn't seem bad, throw in a 500g weight for cal.

That looks like a pretty decent unit. I can't believe they can sell that for ~$9, seems impossibly cheap. China..........

Our track is short and technical. 4.2 is just too much for it and the car seems to have a good balance of speed and torque at around 4.5 or 4.6.

Hey guys i have a t2 007 that i want to turn into a trans am car. I am planning on running a tekin fx pro esc with a trinity co27. I can only run 4 cells correct? Whats a good gearing starting point. Spur/ pinion?

Also does anyone have a good starting setup for my t2 007, or will the set up i ran in asphalt touring last year be a good place to start

thanks for the help

I am routinely beaten by a xxx-s. I don't know anything about his setup except that it's dialed.

Right you can only run 4 cell with that combo. Your asphalt set-up is a good place to start. As for gearing spur/pinion could'nt tell you its been a while since I ran a 007. check the USVTA web site under rules for FDR and you should be able to figure it out from there.
