Thumbs up Third New XRAY Car! (NOT T1M or M18!)

I just received this e-mail from the XRAY MyTSN mailing list...

Quote:
Dear XRAY VIP ROOM member

There is a new poll at XRAY VIP ROOM http://www.mytsn.com/vip/vip.asp?cid=609

The new question is: The next XRAY car should be?

Please visit XRAY VIP ROOM and suggest XRAY what next car you would like to have manufactured and offered by XRAY.

There some great news coming soon, so watch out.

Kindest regards

You can choose one of the following five options in the poll in the XRay VIP room on MyTSN:
  • 1/8 Nitro Off Road Buggy
  • 1/10 2WD Electric Off Road Buggy/Truck
  • 1/10 4WD Electric Off-Road Buggy
  • 1/10 Nitro Truck
  • 1/12 Electric On Road Pan Car

I voted for a 1/12 electric pan car . Obviously there haven't been very many votes because before I voted 1/12 pan car had 54% of the votes and after I voted it jumped up to 65%. Right now 1/8 off road has 15%, 4wd off road buggy have 20%, and 1/12 pan car has 65%; the other two categories have 0%.

If you're a member of the XRay VIP room, what did you vote for? And even if you're not a member of the XRay VIP room on MyTSN, if you could vote, what would you choose?

You have to have a VIP membership card that comes with purchasing a car kit from Serpent or Xray to enter the VIP rooms.

1/10th 4wd electric offroad would be very cool. Be something to give Losi a challenge, instead of letting Losi run away with the class. Granted the Losi car is awesome, but how awesome could an XRAY 4wd offroad car be?

Why a shaft drive touring car? The shaft drive cars can't keep up with us now.

Later,

That would be the ticket. With the quality of their parts and craftsman ship, a Shaft drive kit would be an awesome addition to their portfolio

since i'm into 1/10 EP offroad, i guess they should make a new 1/10 ep buggy. right now AE & Losi dominates this in the US. Kyosho makes one but not very popular here and the Schumacher looks expensive. Tamiya buggies are non-competitive.

You can bet that an XRay buggy would be pretty "up there" in price too, but the quality and craftsmanship would be excellent no doubt
