Cut your tires down. At 58mm you should be able to get down to 4.5mm ride height.

Default T2009 EU QUESTIONS

Im building my T2 009 and I have noticed that the front belt runs really close to the steering ackerman/ servo saver assembly, has any one else noticed this. Im not sure if it will cause any problems as ive not run the car yet.
Also the kit came with springs rated as 2.8, is there a complete kit of these black springs available and whats the part number.

They do run close but as long as everything is built correctly I've never seen any sign that they have rubbed.

Not sure of the springs, I run the colored ones...easier to grab the right ones.

I dont think they have spring packages for the black ones. Ive never changed my springs from the stock ones though. Just the shock oil.

If buying the 009, do the kits now come with the revised I.R and motor mount changes? Or would these still need to be purchased seperate.

I've also been told that if buying this car I would need to upgrade to the aluminium shock set as the plastic one leak and aren't much good. How much is this upgrade.

Also what else is considered a must with this car? I'm talking the EU version.

Cheers
Aaron

The 009 comes with the standard motor position and IR.

The new pieces are optional tuning parts used for certain classes and conditions. The car as delivered will perform quite well.

As for the shocks, I've always run the composite body shocks and have never had any issues with leakage.

None of the available upgrades are essential.
I got alu shocks as well and there isn't really much difference. I just keep all the shock with different oil in so I don't have to change oil's at the track.

Question, what is that little graphite piece that wraps around the motor? looks like a side bumper for the motor or something... is this purchased after-market?
