Manufacturing and shipping costs have increases as well so I don't think you'll see the parts and kits prices go back down. The recent drop in fuel costs will only be temporary too. Juraj Hudy talked about XRAY's challenges in July.

In these pics the yellow/gold isn't that bad looking. I hope it's just limited run though, I like the raw look better.

I like the looks of the new LRP SXX speedo in Temu's car. It looks like all the plugs are removable and come out the front of the speedo now instead of the side. Looks like the sensor wire comes out the back near the power wires now as well. Heatsink looks lower and smaller.

I hate to be blunt. But as a HUGE Xray fan, I am very disappointed that they went with Orange. It is just BUTT UGLY!!!!! The raw aluminum look "in my opinion" adds to the overall look that screams "Quality" and "Style" that Xray has been about for all these years. The '09 looks cheap even though it a great car, it as all high-end cars will carry a big price tag.

...I thought the shocks also were Orange?

If the euro says f the US then f the euro. Let them sell their stuff someplace else for a while. Fight the price increase by not giving them our hard earned money. If we keep paying the increased prices they will keep raising them, hence more profits for non Americans duh? Buy American if you live in the US. If our dollar is crap to them then don't give it to em.

I think the orange looks really good you need to be a little more open minded

I was thinking about the same, but when I got my car I changed my mind - it's quite nice. Maybe complete black car could look better.

I may have posted this before, I can't remember. XRAY fans will be able to buy T2'009 aluminum parts in different colors. XRAY has not announced the full color spectrum but Juraj Hudy shared a few colors.

"But my personal favourites were black and violet and of course the natural silver aluminum."

Options are coming.

Yep I think that is why the Orange is called a "Limited edition".

Alex racing had a Barracuda WEB Special a few years ago that was orange. It was the sexiest looking car ever in person! Orange is one of the hardest colors to get right during anodizing as well....Ive tried having several cars done that color and it usually comes out Gold.

Isn't this going to be a headache for the racer and the hobby shop owner ?
If I need a new orange bulkhead and the the hobby shop only has violet then what ?
I say Xray should pick a new color and make it their standard.

...Black would be SWEET!!! It would give it that sleeper look. I believe that pictures usually don't do a car justice, but the thought of spending $450+ dollars "hoping" that I would like it when I got it would be hard to do. Kind of like you said Eric (EAMotorsports), you have tried different Oranges to have them come out Gold. For the average racer since you the MAN Eric!!! it would be a costly chance to take. Since Xray is having the options to have different colors then that is better for us "closed minded" folks who like the clean and simple look then I am stoked to here of the "Limited Edition" Orange.

..."But my personal favourites were black and violet and of course the natural silver aluminum." I second that.

FYI price is 399,90 in Finland (RacingFactory). That's 511,07$ with current exchange rate.

This car did terrible at the worlds. With the exception of Elliot Harper.

I don't really see anything really inovative on this, it's basically like every t2 model, but with color. I would really like to see manufacturers make car that are more lipo-friendly, like the type R . With the exception of Elliot Harper.
