Anymore information out there on why a "special" tool is required?
I have these and they work best of all I have tried. http://www.nexusracing.com/product_i...roducts_id=512

Outdoors I would say 104 spur with 40~52 pinion size depending on track size, esc, and type of 17.5.

Anybody have a link to this "tool"??? Are directions for rebuilding the thrust in the assembly book? (haven't opened mine yet)
currently out of stock but they should have them in stock in a month or so

Question for you guys, I was wondering if the following parts are identical on all the T2 cars? I am shopping for spare parts on stormer hobbies and most of the parts are listed for "T2" with no year spec in the title. Would these items be a good list of things that might break first out on the track? Anything else you might recommend picking up before race day? If the generic "T2" parts found on stormerhobbies will NOT fit the 009, where do you recommend I pick up the parts?

1) rear suspension arms
2) front suspension arms
3) steering blocks
4) C-hubs
5) hub carriers

Arms were revised for the 008.
Steering blocks have been the same for a long time, maybe since the T2 came out.
C-hubs were revised for the 008.
Hub carriers have been the same for a long time, maybe since the T2 came out.

The thing with the revised parts, is that I have to imagine Stormer only has the newer style.

Oh, and for spare parts, make sure you have a good supply of both 4deg and 6deg C-hubs, plus steering blocks. I find those to be the most prone to breaking.

Unfortunately, I don't think Integy realizes how much us Xray guys love this tool, because they have not had any supplies of them for a while. Hopefully they get more in soon.

wow...glad I bought mine from you guys last year.....

one thing I've learned in RC racing in the past 15 years...when you see something you want, like a tool or a part....BUY IT!!!...

You never know if it will be available the next day...

Linkey workey for me. It prompts you to download a PDF with the cross reference table.

Or go here and look for it:
