Nice panning shots, and good use of depth of field.
A number of these photos have gone straight into my screen saver.

Although I haven't photographed electric (too busy racing one :P ), I've done nitro and I know how bloody hard they are to keep track of for photographing. 1:5th scale is quite easy to photograph.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Your right about getting the shots. Its very hard. I took over 200 pictures and salvaged only 20 or so. Thats the way it is, especially with indoor flourescent lighting...

Nah, you just didn't get that "Trans-Am" isn't the car but short for Vintage Trans-Am, which is becoming a popular class of racing based on the real racecars of the late 60's-early 70's

Heres the rest of the pics that were OK. The quality isnt as good as the first ones but they are interesting anyway.

You can see there is alot of noise in each picture...thats cause the low lighting required me to crank the ISO way up. The higher the ISO, the brighter the picture but the greater the noise. Gotta have a trade off somewhere!
Matt

The SCCA Trans Am was a race series originally run from 1966 to 1972. Incidentally, the Pontiac Trans AM, the name sake of the race, never competed in a single event. There was another era of Trans Am from 1980 - 2006.
