How do you think a Novak BL would fit into the Yok mini?
I think BL will fit in the Yok mini. I was surprised at how much room I have. However, I was using the low profile Futaba servo, which in combination with my KO receiver and Keyence speedo, I was able to lay everything flat on the chassis (and not having to put the receiver on the servo) so I think the BL unit will work in there.

We run 19T with 4 cell on these minis and I honestly think I can do similar lap times as stock sedan with 6 cell (I'll find out this Sunday) Batteries are cheaper (2 packs of 6 cell will now yield you 3 packs) and motor wear is excellent, after the run the motor was just warm and guys are reporting 7-8 min. worth of run time.

Can't wait to see the X-ray mini...I can already see someone doing the 2x2 saddle pack on that thing...hahahaha

Randman,

Actually, there is a group of guys getting together to run these things at the La Mirada parking lot track this Sunday. Come check it out if you get a chance.

I still am not sure if I like the cartoon look of these bodies. Maybe I'll have to see them on the track before I can appreciate them.
The car's them selves look awesome though.

jkerr,

I'm not sure if you come up to race at La Mirada with the rest of the San Diego guys (Orlando Sherman and Mike Rydwell) but if you're coming this Sunday, we have a class going with these little minis I had quite a few customers test drive my mini today at the shop, and the first thing they all say is..." I gotta get me one of these!"

I haven't been up there yet. I've been going to Corona. But I will be there for the Toyota race. I do plan on coming up there soon. I don't know if I'll make it up there this weekend or not. I kind of have to try and keep the traveling down. I live 45 min SE of Oceanside where Orlando lives so I have a little more of a drive.
