Default STARTING FIRST BUILD, FIRST ??

Well startingmy first rc caar build,

As a reminder the basis is

TC4 factory team
Mamba max 5700 brushless
smc 500 lipo
( no steering servo yet, any suggestions??)


Berfore I start , I wanted to know if there were any mandatory chassis // drive train upgrades I should get now, better to build now then take apart later.

I like the Futaba S9551 and i dont think you need to change any thing

I agree, the Futaba S9551 is a very nice servo

As for the main point of the thread, I'd suggest it might be worth investing in spares for things like belts, diff and centre pulleys, diff outdrives and wheel axles. With any more power than the 5700 KV motor you're talking about you'll find you go through these items fairly easily.
