I must say that I've seen my share of racing vids these past few years, but that one (the A3) litteraly blew me away - one of the most intense, door-to-door racing ever. Constant pressure from Marc from the first lap, amazing pass, then the drama of Hara flipping it, my heart really accelerated when I watched that vid. Fantastic job!

2nd best pass ive seen. the best in my opinion is when Surikarn passed Masami and Barry Baker in 2 turns in the 2002 Worlds. anyone have a link to those videos? Team Orion used to have it... cant find it anymore

I can assume that both Hara and MR were driving 10/10ths. What did MR change between A2 and A3 ?

Did he change:
  1. Motor - 4.5 to 4.0 to increase torque?
  2. Reduce the throttle Expo?
  3. Reduce the throttle dual rate?
  4. Change handling to increase more front bite?

Hi Chris

I will try to track that vid... that rings a bell indeed.

If it is about passes then the best one for me is Atsushi's pass in one of the LRP Master's final where he went by both Pavidis and I believe Leino in the middle of a tight chicane in a space of only 2 meters. Pavidis and Leino were battling and both were slightly off line freeing it up for Hara for a split second. Hara punched it and went through the gap as if they weren't even there.

Yep, very good pass.
Here is the video.
I couldn't find a better one.
Karn starts 3rd.
By the time they come by in front of the camera he has passed both Masami and Barry and is gone....

What did MR change?? That's easy. There is a "Whoop Ass" switch on his transmitter and he decided to hit it.
