I think CRC was the only other team to do 40 laps besides the two AE drivers.

Teemu from Xray did 40 laps in the 5th qual.

They spend $10,000 for that test another $20,000 for the race total $30,000. Now with that bottom line 70% return is not a back breaker.

Keep in mind MOST of the participants are sponsored and ALL the sponsors share the expenses to some degree. So of that $30,00 that was used to send the driver LRP for example may only spend $5,000 to see it's bottom line increase by nearly $95,000 plus bragging rights which with the current market is still PRICELESS!!!!!!!

Man I was almost correct! NOT

Wow… link cars 1-2-3 at the Worlds.

Thanks to Hupo and Jilles for working hard to keep their CRC rides looking good. Solid A-main performances and amazing podium for Hupo. Also, great 40 lap runs for both Jilles and Hupo proving the both CRC tires and chassis were very competitive.

What some may not know about Hupo… in 2006 at the Worlds in Italy, after 2 qualifying rounds, Hupo had the second fastest time. During the qualifiers, Hupo began to feel ill, running a temperature and he was in obvious pain. Shortly after a qualifier, Hupo was rushed to an Italian hospital and later transported to Vienna for an emergency appendectomy. Hupo had a good shot at a World title in 2006 only to have a sudden illness rob him of a chance, great to seem him on the podium in 2008 on a surface that he does not run very often.

This was a great team effort with CRC's European contingent; Black Art Racing and Hoeco Modellbau as well as our Japanese team led by Kimihiko Yano, all combining forces to produce a world caliber effort.

Congrats the Noato and the Yokomo team for a great win. Your dominance with the R8C body was impressive and brought us a World Championship.

Thanks to the RCS group for a well run event. A big thanks to RedRC for keeping us informed.

Thanks for the nice words.

You can get the body here. Unfortunately, we won't be re-stocked until about Nov 20.

We need to start the "All-Guts 1/12 Manly-Man Team".

I suggest Mike Pulfer. 1989 Winter Champs - Grand Rapids, MI.

TQ's after getting hit by a car while crossing a busy street in front of the hotel.
