Default Better shocks...

I'm always looking for better, smoother suspension. tc4 w/ yok caps is currently what I run....usually they are fine but can suck if not built right as most of you I'm sure know.

Anyone tried using the tc5 shock bladders in tc4 shocks? With or without the tc5 caps? I continue to blow out shocks on my tc4/TA car. Shocks that never leaked on my TC car blow imeddiately on the rear of my TA car. I'm usually pretty good at building them smooth, constistant and little air in them but can't seem to figure out what's w/ my TA.

How are the tc5 shocks working/holding up w/ the new bladders & caps? Should I spend $ on them?

Any body have better alternative to green slime? I've read thick Diff silicon works, but not tried it myself.

Any other info on the tc5 suspension is appreciated!

I personally haven't had any issues with the TC4 or TC5 shocks. I guess I was lucky with my TC4 shocks when I used them.

Anyway, if you do upgrade your existing shocks there are two ways to do it. You can get the upgrade kit or you can purchase the entire thing.

There are people who absolutely love the Tamiya, Xray and Losi's new 10mm shocks. I have only used the Losi's and I thought they were an improvement over their previous shocks.

I never liked the green slime, I just used a lot of shock oil when putting them together.

Nonetheless, the choice is up to you.
There is great need for a sarcasm font.

You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

Sometimes I post just to look at my avatar.
