Default I need the best battery now...Like I am leaving to buy today

I have NO idea about the battery for my car....... i am all set w/everything else.. Associated tc4 factory team, Mamba max 5700KV brushless and a nice higher end Futaba radio system

I have however been most confused with the battery.. Looks like lipo is the choice but trinity or orion or smc.. 3800 or 4k or what""

Money is not an object

BTW,, just my personal first car to build and do parking lot bashing... who knows what that might lead to down the road

If you want some crazy speed opt for a 3S lipo... Losi has a 3S 5000 that I think would fit. And yes the Mamba Max has lipo cutoff. If you are going for bashing get as much capacity as you can for run time.

You are going to get a dozen different answers to this question. Unless you are at the very top end of the racing scale any of the lipos are going to do you fine. I would recommend looking at any of the ROAR legal lipo packs as they have all been certified by ROAR as safe when using them properly.

Good old nicads ,no just joking.
If you want to have alot of runtime and fun i would recomend Trackpower4900 or SMC 5000.
You woudnt like 3s because it will be to powerfull.

This is what I run. No problems with them what so ever. Good price and great service(You can't beat the price). I have just about all the different batteries out there. You can't go wrong with any of the top companies. Hell even some of he small ones are selling great products.

I used tyre warmers on parking because there wasnt alot of grip , so warmers would bring up a bit of traction like this the car wont slide alot.
Im not trying to get in a fight .
Just my thought

You mentioned chargers. I will say this, my personal opinion, get AC/DC.

Sometimes its a pain to have to only be able to car on a car battery. People will respond with use a power supply, well if you're not racing where you'll be at a pit it just adds something else to buy and keep track of.

I really like my Hyperion 606I

traction compound and setup will do just fine. Tire warmers make very little difference. Esp after you drive around a bit, the tires warm up on their own.

No ,,no charger yet...although someone posted a link to a duratrax(I think) charges that was like 80 bucks I think.

I do not want to invest 150 in a charger, I cant see it being that crucial in my car,,not like I am racing and need a track side setup
