Hi Josh,
good job at the US ROAR nats. giving everyone a good view of the rear end of a xray.

In the short arm/long arm thread, you mentioned wheel scrub. can this be useful in setting up a TC on asphalt on foams (we can run foams on asphalt in Australia) if so could you enlighen me with some of your knowledge.

How goes the FW-05R. do you run a hoped up version, or what you run is available off the shelf. looking at getting into nitro and would like to get something different.

Josh - On the rear end of your xray, do you run anti-squat, lower holes, or upper holes for the lower suspension mounting point?

Josh - running 1/12 scale on asphalt, what would be a good starting point for front-end camber/caster setting?

Randy - I might this summer!!

nomaak - I don't think so...

Kraig - I used the 2344 in my 6-cell car and the PDS-949 in the 4-cell and 1/12 oval cars....

Jason - My Subaru hasn't had any work done to it (YET!!). I am waiting till the summer and I catch up on a bunch of things before I even think of working on it. The short a-arm Xray is much better than the long a-arm set-up. Even with your other chassis I would definatly give it a try!!

dontfeelcold - lol.. Thanks!! As far as wheel scrub it's not something that's easily adjusted on any of the cars except some of the 1/8 gas cars... I am running the FW-05R and as far as I know everything is off the shelf....

Randy - That car was a hand made prototype - it's in pieces but about 60% together. It would take a lot of work to put it back into working form...

Evicerator - Well, if you were doing it I figure it was top secret so I'll just keep it between us!!...

alien too - I run the new bulkheads that have 3 holes - bottom, middle and top - I run the middle in both the front and the rear. I don't run any kick-up, anti-dive, pro-squat or anti-squat....

Jay - www.cefx.net and just e-mail me through the site...

jc510 - Usually on asphalt it's 1.5 degrees of camber and 4 degrees of castor.

Josh, just a quick question about parts....have you heard any news at all of increased shipments to the US? I have been looking for the composite steering blocks for almost 2 weeks now and every single place I have looked online or called has them on back order and no idea when they will get them in. One LHS actually told me that they only get XRay parts about once every 6 weeks.

The cars are awesome but it kinda stinks to break something in a freak accident then have to shelve it for a month or longer.

Josh yeah I remember reading about that car as a one off proto type I remember seeing the servo placed forward and reversed like a real car so it would pull the steering blocks not push them. and the rear trailing arm was sweet looking. what were your thoughts on how that machine handled?

thanks
