Hi Josh,

What is the best tire additive to use with Sorex 28R or 32R.

Which inserts???

When do you use soft wheels?? hard wheels??

Thanks and congratulation for your victory,

Hugo

Josh-Congrats on the win at the Gate-unbeatable that day!!! Wow!!

What tracks were you planning on testing 1/10th electric on rubber tires for the Worlds in Kissimee?

Do you know of any tracks in the summer that have weeknight or Saturday afternoon racing on asphalt in Detroit to Toledo area?

hey josh, i was going thru some older pictures from rc tech race results. and i saw some from your tc3 days. at this particular carpet race you had losi xxx-s shock towers on a tc3. and the tc3's were using rear shock towers on the front. what does all this do? and will you graph it onto the x-ray? 'cuase on my chassis (T1) the shocks lean at a more inclined angle than the other cars. plus if i use the outer- most mounts on the a-arm....the shocks seem to almost lay down.
thank you (or any other pro) for your help.

Unhappy Evolva

Josh

I am having a problem with the rear suspension on my evolva when I push down on the chassi to work the rear shocks it seems that as soon as the shocks start to compress all the pressure is already pulling on the rear body mount making it bow and not giving me a smooth working of the shocks please help. thank you in advance.
mike wannett if you have any tips on set up or cluch
settings please let me know,thanks

PSI - I use the new KO servos - 2344 - lots of torque and plenty fast enough for gas racing!!

Hugo - I'm not a big rubber tire person but I would say that most of it depends on the track and temperatures that you race under. As far as I know the best additive has been Paragon (not the ground effects but their other type). In some cases (especially on asphalt or high temps) no tire traction is needed!! Rims, usually soft if I need traction - hard if I need to take traction away....

Ray - I will be racing all rubber tires now until we go back indoors in late October!!! Where I'm not sure yet!!

nomaak - I just wanted to try a more vertical shock layout on my TC3 - it usually took away traction - perfect for big races like the Snowbirds where traction rolling is a big problem. If you use Xray's short a-arms and foam tire front shock tower you can set the shocks up at nearly the same angles that I used on my TC3 - no extra's need to be made or drilled!!

whynot - Check that you assembled everything correctly... If you can take some pics and post them so I can check it out....

Josh, what KO servo did you use in your oval cars down in Florida?

Josh,

congrats on your run at the Gate. you were in a class by yourself. I downloaded the A mains and your Xray was flying.
I was lurking around and saw you have a Subaru?????? if so what all have you done to it?????? I'm trying to talk my dad into getting one as his truck is killing him on gas....... and I want something fun to drive too any pics???????

I was wondering how your car felt with short arms. mine still has the long arms on it but with a different chassis (batteries moved ahead and in) it felt a little slow in the corners. (3 degree caster blocks and a sway bar) but for a belt drive car it was good. (too used to the shaft drive cars).

anyway good luck racing onroad this summer.

I'm going Karting instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
