EVOLUTION - Ask anything you want to know here. I'm not easily scared...

Josh Short - I think so. Once I'm done with all the gas races for the year...

Kenny - Hmmm.... We can figure that one out in a bit.. I have to find someone to race for first!!!

Pizza - I would use the #3's on foam tires and the #2's on rubber tires.....

amusixwiz - Thanks!! As far as the oval race.... I would love to attend but with it being in November it's hard since that's always when I have to focus on Cleveland..... Keep me posted on the races and maybe I can make a different one...

Josh, can you help me out with a set up for the TC3? I run in a stock class and I would like to know what would be a pretty good set-up to run on a high bite track. Shock oil, springs, shock-center roll position etc. If you can help, I would greatly apreciate it. thanks josh.

Although, sometimes when you start forums/threads like that, people get really demanding. Joe Schmoe comes in and asks Driver X a question about the Nitro TC3, for example, and when he doesn't have a response in 8 hours, he posts about how much Driver X sucks and won't answer his question. In other words, sometimes being in demand isn't all that it's cracked up to be (especially when you travel as much as these guys do).

It's great to have pro-level people in our sport on here participating in the discussions, but we don't want to scare them off.
I think it would be easier(IMO,so don't shoot )to just start an "Ask XYZ thread" in the existing forums. For example you could start one in the electric forum, and hopefully in the nitro forum and if in this case Josh has time he can reply if he likes but can also view other threads in that forum if they catch his eye.Where as if the "Ask XYZ thread" was in a serparate place then "XYZ" might not have enough time to browse different forums cause of other commitments.

Just my $1.25

Default Halleluja,

finally somebody with balls big enough to put his beliefs before the greenbacks and stand up to the godfather of R/C.

Way to go Josh, things will be getting much better from now on and a ot of people who only admired your skills until now, will have a lot of respect for you as person as well, me included.

I met you at the 2002 Snowbirds and was very impressed, but later in the week when the guy that dresses like a small town pimp was hanging around your pit area, it was just no fun to be there any more.

Hello!!! Since you have done so many modification on your TC3, are you still using the standard steering bar or have you switched to the swing rack from NTC3?

If you did use it, What was the difference for you?

Thanks!! - Lem

Its nice to see some of the big name drivers around here...not everyday you get a chance to talk to someone that you read about monthly. Anywho, Josh, good luck to you, your obviously gonna be a rocket no matter where you end up, lol.

racerman - #3 pistions front and rear, Yellow front springs, Purple rear springs, 50wt rear oil, 60wt front oil, outer holes on the rear tower and a-arm, use a rear tower in the front - shock mounted in the inner hole location with the inside hole on the a-arm, for roll centers - in the rear - use a "F" block in place of the "R" along with a R+2-2 block. In the front use the "F"-0 block with the standard "F" block. Use the upper and inner holes on the tower for camber links. Use the outer hole on the standard Asc hub carriers. If you use Losi hubs - use 0 degree ones and use the inner hole. 5mm ride height.

stephan - Wow!!...lol...

lem2 - I use the Nitro TC3 steering. I like that it stays more consistant and it doesn't get sloppy like the stock steering rack does. I also thought it reacted faster (again - less slop)....

Josh,

Give Integy a shot... they need a big name like yourself to show everyone that their stuff is pretty good.
Just a thought.

Thanks
Jon

Josh: while you were at trinity you didnt have a chassis sponsor for TC right? that being the case, i have been always curious to know what made you decide to run the TC3 over all the other TC available in the market? what did you like about it (or what dint you like the other cars avaialble?) considering you had the liberty to choose and run whatever you wanted?
