What servo would you recommend for running 12th scale using the EX-10 Helios. I looking for something Digital.

Good luck at the snow birds..

I can tell you what Josh would say

He would suggest the KO PDS-947 FET, it was the only 12th scale digital servo by them for years, but they just came out with a new ICS version that is programmable, PDS-949 ICS

2343 for sedan, I assume that you can use the FET with GT-7 since it is the only KO servo for 12th.

Default Setup question

There are a bunch of us at my track that run xrays. My setup seems to be the stiffest with 38lbs front and 28 lb rear springs 50wt front with all holes closed and 40wt rear with 2 clicks on the shocks. Camber links are middle bottom on the front and lower inside rear (camber bridge).

Other guys run essentially the stock setup, maybe a little stiffer. I didn't like it because the car really leaned into the corners and came close the traction rolling.

Is this a driving style thing or is there a benefit to running a softer setup with more angled and shorter camber links? When my car is working (not consistent, still learning TCs on carpet. 1st season in about 10 years... used to run 1/10 pan car) I can turn within 2 laps of TQ and show in the A main.

BTW, I think I'm getting close to a consistent, easy to drive setup - or is a stiffer setup less forgiving to driving line / smoothness errors?

The car's symptoms are a corner entry oversteer if I'm not ultra smooth going to power off .

Realize your in Florida right now. I tried moving the left set of cells up one spot on the chassis and that helped a lot.

Same question though: is a stiffer setup less forgiving to drive? In your experience, which has better corner speed, assuming a balanced setup?

Default C12 Anti-roll bar effect

Josh,

on the CEFX C12, is there a way to adjust the anti-roll bar effect of the front end? Something like put small spacers under the front mounting holes of the spring plate maybe?

BTW: Love the C12 already.

Default Servo

Since Josh is having fun where it is warm, yes you can use them with the GT7. The FET is internal and you do not use the extra wire from your speed controler. FYI Angel, it is 28 deg.

Hello, Josh

I am starting a new class at my local track 1/10 GTP pan. I wanted to know why this class went the way of the Dodo Bird. Their
are some fast guys at my track and more racers are looking for cars. Just wanted to know what you think about this class, and
if you ever raced 1/10 pan.

That's a great class that died.We tried to revive it here in florida a few years ago only to have people in our series screw it up.We had limited success by having a 4 cell stock or 19t with 200mm touring car bodies on narrow pan chassis. It worked great until the others wanted 6 cell and unlimited motors. I heard from someone in Calif. that they have three heats of them every week at one track.

Thank for the reply, I love it. It's faster than TC and just as fun as 1/12. I know in Japan it
is becoming very popular again. and some guys are using GTP bodies on Touring Cars.
